The PLAY Project

The PLAY Project™ is a parent implemented, intensive early intervention program for young children with autism that is evidence-based. The PLAY Project is based on Dr. Stanley Greenspan’s DIR® (Developmental, Individualized, Relationship-based) approach to treating children with developmental disabilities, including Autism. The goal of the PLAY Project, is to provide in depth parent training, so that parents can implement the program at home. The PLAY Project is delivered by parents, using their relationship and knowledge of their child to promote engagement.

We are excited to be able to offer The PLAY Project at Mosaic Therapy. Through this model, you and your child will participate in 3 hours of direct, therapist led intervention per month so that you can learn to be your child’s best play partner. Services can be provided at our clinic or in home. Children who would benefit from The PLAY Project include children with a diagnosis of Autism or red flags for Autism, as well as children with other developmental delays that result in challenges with relating and engaging with others.
